Beaulon Castle

Local name: Château de Beaulon

The castle in the extravagant gothic style was built during the reign of Louis XI (construction was completed in 1480). In the following centuries, it was practically not rebuilt, and many original elements in the interior were preserved. It has been famous for its cognac made here since the 17th century.
