Domaine National de Saint-Cloud
Local name: Domaine National de Saint-Cloud
On the site of the former palace, there is now a park of the same name. The castle, existing since the 16th century, during the reign of Marie Antoinette, was rebuilt and enlarged to form a palace complex. The building was in the possession of Napoleon I, and then Napoleon III, until 1870, when it burned down during the Franco-Prussian war. The buildings were demolished in 1891.
