The 12th-century Augustinian abbey was thoroughly rebuilt in the 18th century - only a few traces of the originally Romanesque architecture have survived. After the dissolution of the religious congregation, its buildings were bought by Duke de Conti and the abbey was called a castle. It is now public property, a museum and a business center.
