Grands Causses Regional Park

Local name: Parc régional des Grands Causses

The regional nature park was established in 1995. It covers an area of 327,935 ha and is the third largest park in France. In 2011, 22 municipalities that make up the park, and parts of Causses and Cévennes, were recognized by UNESCO as "cultural landscapes of Mediterranean agro-pastoralism" and inscribed on the World Heritage List.
