Loire Castle Gardens

The gardens of the Loire Castle in Lémeré is a complex of 14 gardens, inspired by fairy tales and legends. Due to fancy designs, they were included in the network of "The Most Beautiful Gardens in France". Particularly noteworthy is the rose garden, in which more than 300 species and varieties of roses grow. The gardens also house a collection of sculptures by contemporary artists such as Fabien Verschaere, Cat Loray and Jerôme Basserode.
