Local name: Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon

The Verdon Regional Nature Park is located in Provence. Includes the Vedon River Canyon and surrounding limestone massifs. These are the areas famous for beautiful views, small towns and opportunities for spending free time hiking in the field.

The park's biggest attraction is Verdon Canyon. It is one of the deepest in Europe. Its depth reaches 700 meters. A scenic road has been laid along the river for a distance of 21 kilometers. There are also bridges from which you can admire the landscape. On sunny days, the river flowing below me has an intense blue shade. The canyon can also be overcome by kayak, boat or pedal boat.

The areas surrounding the canyon are characterized by a varied sculpture. There are limestone mountains with flat tops and deep stream valleys. The picturesque landscape includes villages and towns with stone, traditional buildings. The park is cut with a network of walking and cycling routes.
