The summit (993 m above sea level), commonly known as the Eagle's Beak, is an excellent vantage point offering a wonderful panorama of the Jura mountain range, behind which on sunny days you can see the Mont Blanc massif. The road to Pic de l'Aigle is picturesque, but relatively easy - perfect for an exciting family trip.
