National park located on the island of Port-Cros in the Mediterranean. It is the first national park in Europe connecting land and sea protection zones. The protected area is about 700 ha of land and nearly 1300 ha of sea at a distance of 600 m from the coast. The park is part of the 'Natura 2000' program.
