Originally a gothic defensive castle, extended in the following centuries as the family residence of the Estaing princes. It currently belongs to a family foundation established by former French President Valerie Giscard d'Estaing. The appearance of some rooms and halls was created, creating a place commemorating one of the most important princely families of France.
