Monumental Fountain
Local name: Fontaine Monumentale
The fountain is located in the middle of the Esplanade de la Défense. It has the form of a large 57 x 26 m swimming pool, powered by 66 water jets. On the one hand, the water overflows over the enamelled edge of the pool creating a small waterfall. The fountain was built according to the design of Yaacova Agam.
