Mont Blanc Terrace

The complex of several observation decks is located at the top of the Aiguille du Midi. The highest terrace is located at an altitude of 3842 m above sea level. In the immediate vicinity there is the Panoramic Mont Blanc station with a café and a souvenir shop. The terraces offer a panoramic view of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.
Especially noteworthy are the peaks of Dome du Gouter (4,304 m), Mont Maudit (4,465 m) and Mont Blanc (4,810 m). On a clear day you can also see the peaks of the Matterhorn (4,478 m), Monte Rosa (4,634 m) and Grand Combin (4,314 m). The temperature at the summit is very low all year round, even in summer it can drop to -14 ° C, so travelers are advised to wear warm clothes and to protect themselves from bright sunlight.
