Cathedral Saint-François-de-Sales Chambéry

The 15th-century temple is known among the faithful as the place of storing one of several dozen copies of the Shroud of Turin. Art lovers come here, among others for the largest in Europe (6,000 m2) paintings in the trompe l'oeil style - paintings that create the illusion of three dimensions.
