Cathedral of Saint-Benoît de Castres

Local name: Cathédrale Saint-Benoît de Castres

The largest church, Castres, was built between the 11th and 18th centuries. Its construction was never completed according to the original plans, and during its lifetime it was destroyed twice by Protestants. Currently, the oldest part of the temple is the Romanesque belfry - the nave is the result of the Baroque reconstruction.
