Remains of a fort defending the entrance to the port of Calais in the past. The first defensive building in this place was erected in the 14th century by the English. Over time, the fortress was expanded and rebuilt in accordance with the progressing development of military technology. In the early 20th century, a large part of the fort was demolished. Only the underground was left, which served as shelters during World War II. Currently, there are places visible after the fort buildings and several small fragments of buildings.
