Calais Town Hall

Local name: Hôtel de Ville de Calais

The seat of the municipal authorities, equipped with a 75-meter bell tower, is a neo-Flemish style building. The work according to the design of the architect Louis Debrouwer began in 1911 and lasted (with a break caused by the outbreak of World War I) until 1925. In front of the building there is a monument by August Rodin "Townspeople from Calais".
