Cahors Cathedral

The 12th-century Romanesque cathedral, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is famous for the material stored here, which, according to tradition, covered the face of Christ laid to the grave. Today's edifice was erected on the site of a much earlier temple from the 7th century.
