Cistercian Abbey of Sainte Marie

The complex of buildings of the female Cistercian congregation founded in the 12th century combines elements of the Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles. After the order was dissolved during the French Revolution, monastic life was restored only after World War II. Sightseeing takes place in organized groups led by nuns.
