The Ostrobothnia Museum in the city of Vaasa is dedicated to local culture, nature and art. The main exhibition is located in a historic building built in 1927 to a design by Eino Forsman. The three smaller branches of the museum are spread over three other locations in the city.
In the main building of the Ostrobothnian Museum, you can mainly see exhibitions presenting the nature of the North Kvarken Strait, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the history of the city of Vaasa.
