Särestöniemi Museum

The Särestöniemi-museo in Kittilä is an art museum located in the studio and family home of Reidar Särestöni, considered one of the most outstanding Finnish-Sami artists. In addition to the exhibition space, there is also a cafe and a museum shop.

The permanent exhibition includes a collection of Särestöniemi's works and his workshop. During your visit, it is worth paying attention to the traditional architecture of the old buildings, which harmonizes with the modern Finnish wooden architecture of the new gallery building.
