Monastery of St. Catherine

It is one of the oldest existing Christian monasteries. The first chapel was built here in the 4th century. Only some parts of the monastery are open to the public, including the courtyard with the Moses Well, the main gate, the library, the church and the Burning Bush Chapel. The monastery is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
