Krakonos lookout

The Krakonos viewpoint is located at an altitude of 1421 m above sea level. It is located on the Goat Ridge, which is currently not available to tourists. There is a view from here of Śnieżka, Luční Hora, Medvědín, Silesian Rocks and the Elbe Valley.

Access to the viewpoint is the only remnant of the former trail that led through the entire Goat Ridge. It is a narrow, jagged ridge, now considered too dangerous to follow a public trail. The vantage point is not available in winter, when there is a large avalanche danger here.
