Porec Aquarium is an aquarium and terrarium in which we can get to know a wide range of species and varieties of creatures inhabiting the coastal waters and terrestrial areas of Croatia. The object is not large, but valued by visitors for very good lighting of aquariums and descriptions of fish, turtles, snails, octopuses and wonderful specimens of large crabs living in them. Next to them we will find snakes, lizards, geckos and even an alligator.
Among the fish, the most impressive are splendidly colored moray eels. From a distance of several centimeters, you can see these wonderful animals with whom meeting in natural conditions can end up very unpleasantly - the moray jaws are filled with a lot of blunt, strong teeth, adapted to crush crustaceans and sea urchins.
Porec Aquarium is valued by tourists as a place where - while exploring the old town - you can hide for several dozen minutes from the cold and heat outside.
