Green Cave

Zelena špilja, or Zielona Cave / Grotto, is located on the small island of Ravnik. It is easily accessible - you can easily reach it by pontoon or even a larger boat (it is 18 m long and about 6 m wide). The water depth in the cave ranges from 3 to 5 m. The visibility inside is very good due to the small rock window in the vault. The rays of sunlight coming through them create light effects in shades of green, thanks to which the cave got its name.

In the vicinity of the Green Cave there are many smaller caves. Some of them are only available to divers - e.g. 30 m below the surface, a very large grotto whose inlet is overgrown by a multi-colored and multi-shaped sponge colony. While exploring the caves, you can admire the abundance of fish (including moray eels and rockfish), cuttlefish, crabs and octopuses.

The not too high and easily accessible cliffs in the vicinity of the Green Cave also attract enthusiasts of extreme jumps into the water.
