The nature reserve has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. 41 species of mammals, 11 species of reptiles and 10 species of amphibians live here. You can meet here, among others otters, wildcats, pelicans and cormorants. There is a small museum by the lake, in which stuffed exhibits of local species were placed.
