Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge

Local name: Most Mehmed-paše Sokolovića

The bridge over the Drina River has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It was built in 1577 according to the design of the Turkish architect, Mimar Sinan. The bridge is 179.5 m long and consists of 11 arches 11 to 15 m wide.
