Perućica Forest

Local name: Perućica

One of the last primeval forests in Europe grows on mountain slopes in the Sutjeska National Park. Mainly coniferous trees grow here - spruces and pines. You can find here the highest known Norwegian spruce, 63 m high. Bears and wolves live in the forest. You can only walk in the forest with a ranger.
