The pedigree of the temple dates back to the 10th century, when a small Romanesque church was built here, which was enlarged after taking over the relics of St. Walburgi in 1100. The currently preserved block in the early Gothic style is the result of the reconstruction from the fourteenth century. In the following centuries the building served as a powder magazine and a rainwater reservoir - it was restored at the beginning. 20th century
