City Hall with Belfry

Local name: Stadshal met Belfort

The historic Gothic town hall dates from the 13th century. The present building and the adjacent 35-meter belfry are the result of historical reconstruction after the damage done during World War I. The tower is one of 56 belfries from Belgium and France inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
