Local name: Burg Schlaining
The architecture of this one of the best preserved medieval castles in Austria shows Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. You can watch here, among others a knight's room with frescoes, a baroque chapel and a tower in which a colony of bats lives. The European Peace Museum also operates here.
