The railway route leads through the Styrian Alps and is 41 km long. It is considered the first mountain railway in the world. During the journey, you pass several tunnels and viaducts, stone-cut passages and iron bridges, as well as 19th-century railway stations. The railway and its route were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
