One of the bathing beaches at the Attersee lake, which is valued for its relatively warm water, the richness of fish and strong and constant winds that favor sailing and surfing. A historical curiosity of this part of the lake is the castle on the island, which was often visited by the famous painter Gustaw Klimt.
