Lengarica Canyon and hot springs near the town of Permet are one of the many geographical attractions in Albania located throughout the country. Hot springs can be found in Benja, at the mouth of the canyon. The water in the reservoirs has healing properties, and mud has a beneficial effect on the appearance of the skin. The main attractions are therefore swimming in thermal pools and walking in the Lengarica canyon.
The thermal pools are located about 13 kilometers from Permet, and the old Ottoman bridge Ura e Kadiut, built in 1760, leads to them. Behind the bridge are sulfur-scented healing springs of varying depth, both shallow, suitable for children, and deeper, allowing swimming. The water in the pools is about 30 ℃, so bathing is an extremely nice, relaxing experience.
After bathing, you can go hiking in the Lengarica canyon. Passing through the canyon is quite a demanding occupation, but tourists decide to cross because of the picturesque views and untouched nature of human nature.
