Putnei Wasserfall

Putnei Waterfall is located in the Putna Vrancea Nature Park near the village of Lepsa. Since 1973 it has the status of a nature monument and is under protection. It is about 80 m long and the total water fall is 12 m. There is a small lake at the foot of the waterfall. It can only be accessed via the marked path leading up the stone steps.

According to a local legend, near the waterfall you can meet the ghost of a beautiful woman dressed all in white at night. She offers people a handful of diamonds, but it's better not to accept her gift.
