The park was established in the 18th century as a baroque garden. Its contemporary appearance, reminiscent of English-style landscape parks, is the result of the reconstruction that took place at the end of the 19th century. Currently, the park area has the status of a protected nature reserve.
Over 200 plant species grow in the park, including both native and exotic species. The oldest tree is a plane tree planted in 1810. In 2020, its trunk was 205 cm in diameter. In addition, chestnut trees, Japanese acacia, white and green mulberries and ginkgo trees grow here.
There is a greenhouse in the park where camellias were once grown, a roofed gazebo and a picturesque lake. Among the trees there is also a playground for children with carousels, swings and wooden houses.
