Medieval castle overlooking the town of Saluzzo, which used to belong to the marques of the town and now houses a museum.
The castle was built in the 12th century, but owes its present appearance to numerous reconstructions. You can see a massive, round tower and residential buildings set around the courtyard. There is a beautiful view of the surrounding area from the castle walls. Today, on the lower floors of the former residential buildings, there is a modern art center, hosting temporary exhibitions from Italian and European collections, and on the upper floor you can visit a small museum devoted to knightly culture.weniger
