A picturesque botanical garden with traditions dating back to medieval times. For centuries it belonged to the Silvatico family and served as a kitchen garden and home resting place.
In the 18th century, Matteo Silvatico, a well-known scientist and lecturer at the Medical School in Salerno, created a garden here where students could learn about plants used in medicine. Currently, the restored garden refers to the baroque traditions, but mainly presents herbaceous plants and used medicine. They are planted in accordance with the ancient art of gardening and create a beautiful composition with rest areas and quiet corners.weniger
