Seilbahn / Talstation Rapallo - Montallegro

Cable car connecting Rapallo to the Marian shrine of Montallegro. It is located on a hill about 600 m above sea level and is a popular destination for pilgrimages. The funicular was built in 1934 and is the only such structure in Liguria. The wagons cover the entire route in about 7 minutes. providing riders with great views of the bay and the coast. At the top, apart from the sanctuary itself, there are also Pilgrimage Paths, including the Way of the Cross.
