Volkspark

People's Park is a small landscape park. In its center there is a historic stage. There are also two fountains, a teahouse in an old Victorian building and a modern playground for children. At the entrance to the park, you can see the former gardener's hut, now adapted to the needs of an office. There is also a garden that takes into account the needs of the blind, with handrails marked out.

Before the park was established on this site, a small defensive Martello tower stood here. The park was officially opened on September 29, 1890. It was built according to the design of the architect JL Robinson

Every Sunday in the park there is a market where food products and handicrafts are sold.
