Burgruine Falkenstein Allgäu

The highest castle in Germany. It stands on a rock at an altitude of 1277 m above sea level. From the medieval defensive structure, only the walls of the main fortress have survived to our times. The buildings of the castle were located lower and today a hotel was built on them.
