Fuglsang Kunstmuseum

The museum is dedicated to Danish art from the end of the 18th century to the end of the 20th century. It is one of the oldest art museums in Denmark. Among the collected works of art, painting, sculpture and graphics dominate. In 2020, the collection consisted of 3,573 works by 806 artists.

Permanent exhibitions feature works by artists such as Jens Juel, PC Skovgaard, Kristian Zahrtmann and Skagensmalerne. In addition, at least 3 special exhibitions are organized every year.

The museum is housed in a building specially designed for this purpose by Tony Fretton. It is situated in the easternmost part of the island of Lolland, directly next to the coast. In addition to the exhibition space, there is a cafe, bookshop and a spacious foyer.
