Jesperhus
Lokaler Name: Jesperhus
It is the largest botanical and zoological park in Northern Europe. It consists of three zones: botanical, zoological and funfair. About 2 million plants grow in the botanical garden, including flowers, herbs and a collection of cacti. There is also a fairy-tale garden based on the work of Hans Christian Andersen.
The zoological part is located in a complex of interconnected greenhouses and has been arranged in the shape of a jungle. There are 450 animals from about 125 species living there. Most of them move freely on spacious paddocks and terrariums. Here you can see, among others crocodiles, snakes and colorful butterflies.
The entertainment part includes attacks such as the pirate island, merry-go-rounds and a puppet theater. You can also go for a pony ride.
