Thorvaldsen Museum

The museum is dedicated to the work of the neoclassical sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen, who worked in the 18th and 19th centuries. It houses an extensive collection of marble sculptures, bas-reliefs, marble and bronze statues, and plaster casts. There are also paintings, antiques and personal items belonging to Thorvaldsen.
