Livgarden Museum
Lokaler Name: Livgardens Museum
The museum was opened in 1978 and is entirely devoted to the history of the Danish Royal Guard, founded in 1658 by King Frederick III. It is housed in the 18th-century guard barracks in the gardens of Rosenborg Palace. Exhibitions show the development of the guard over the centuries, and the collections include collections of uniforms, weapons and works of art.
