The sandy Kjul Beach is 6 km from the town of Hirtshals. It is surrounded by a strip of Lilleheden and Uggerby dunes. It is a perfect place for both families with children and water sports enthusiasts. There are toilets, ice cream parlors, a snack bar and parking. During the season, there is also a first aid point, and safety is guarded by a team of rescuers.
At Kjul beach you can sunbathe and walk on the clean white sand. You can also go swimming, surfing and windsurfing. There is a campsite approx. 400 m from the beach.
