Kansanpuisto Beach in Turku is located in the Ruissalo National Park, which covers the area of the island of the same name. It used to be a municipal swimming pool, but now it is a wild, sandy beach, perfect for walking, but not for swimming. From the beginning of the 21st century, you can find large clusters of wild geese - Canada goose and white goose - on the beach.
