The museum is dedicated to the memory of Baba Wanga, a blind Bulgarian prophetess, healer and mystic who lived from 1911 to 1996. It is housed in her former house, which has been preserved in the same condition as Wanga lived there. The collection consists of over 3,000 exhibits - personal belongings, clothes and photographs.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen and a room where the mystic received guests in the 1980s (in the following years the meetings were held at the house in Rupite). On the first floor you can see a prayer room with many tapestries and valuable icons. One of the most important is the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary, considered to be a miraculous icon. The second floor has a bedroom and a terrace.
It is worth paying attention to the plaque in front of the entrance to the museum. It features one of Baba Wanga's predictions: "Good days will come for Bulgaria, for the nations that help our country."
