The Constantin Brâncuși Memorial House is located in the Hobita village, where the artist came from. It is housed in a historic house dating from the second half of the 19th century and restored in the 1970s. It is devoted to Brâncuși's life and work, and its collection includes collections of photographs, books and letters.
The house consists of three rooms - a kitchen with a traditional fireplace, a bedroom and a pantry with a characteristic sloping roof. Here you can see traditional furnishings, including original country furniture and a weaving workshop from the beginning of the 20th century.
It is worth bearing in mind that although the museum is located in a house that faithfully replicates the one Brâncuși grew up in, the artist's family home is approximately 100 meters away. Currently, it is in a state of ruin.
