The Constanţa Art Museum is devoted to painting, sculpture and graphics. Its collection includes over 7,400 works by the most prominent Romanian artists. The exhibitions are located in two buildings and are arranged chronologically.
In the first building you can see the works of such 19th-century painters as Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Ioan Andreescu and Ștefan Luchiana. On the first floor there are dozens of landscapes and nudes inspired by the local coast. In turn, on the top floor there are works of art created in the years 1924-1933 by four leading artists of the time: Nicolae Tonitz, Ștefan Dimitrescu, Francisc Șirato and the sculptor Oscar Han. The second building houses the works of, among others Camili Ressu, Sabina Poppa, Iona Theodorescu Siona and Luciana Grigorescu.
