The 26-meter high observation tower is situated in Merkinė on the right bank of the Nemunas. From this popular spot, you can observe some of the most important landmarks of the local panorama: the Nemunas Landscape Reserve, Nemunas and Merkis sanatorium, Pastrauji Island, part of Merkinė Old Town, Merkinė Mound and Merkinė Pyramid.
