Basílica de la Catedral de San Nicola Pellegrino

The cathedral is the most important place of worship in the city. It was built using Trani Stone, a building material typical of the area. Construction began in 1099. The building is distinguished by an impressive transept and the use of a pointed arch in the passage located under the belfry.
